FAQ field notes
Organized into four areas: accounts, connections, routes and billing. Each entry starts with verifiable steps, making it useful for checking subscription imports, device changes and connection troubleshooting one item at a time.
- 7-day no-questions-asked refunds
- Unlimited devices
- No email address required
ENTRY / ACCOUNT
Accounts & subscriptions
Start here when registering, getting a subscription, updating a configuration or changing devices. The subscription is how the client reads route configurations, so always rely on the information currently shown in the user panel.
Do I need an email address to register for BiliVPN?
No email address is required. Register with a username and password. Keep both credentials safe; after opening the user panel, you can choose a plan, get the client and view subscription details.
What is a subscription link, and where can I get one?
A subscription link imports route configurations into a client. After choosing a plan, sign in to the user panel and get the current subscription from the account overview or client download area, then add it using your client’s import method. Marketing pages do not publicly display real subscription addresses.
How do I update a subscription in my client?
Find the current subscription in your client and use its update or refresh function, then wait for the route list to reload. If the original subscription can no longer be updated, return to the user panel, retrieve the current subscription and import it again. Avoid repeatedly adding the same old configuration, which can create duplicate entries.
Do I need to buy another plan after changing devices?
No. BiliVPN supports unlimited devices. Sign in to the user panel on the new device, get the appropriate client and import the subscription again. Supported platforms include Windows / macOS / iOS / Android / Linux.
ENTRY / CONNECTION
Connections & issues
Connection issues usually involve three areas: the local network, client configuration and target app. Change only one setting at a time during troubleshooting and note which step restores service; this makes the issue easier to reproduce and diagnose.
What should I check first when the client cannot connect?
First confirm that your local network can access regular websites, then update the subscription and retry with another route. If routes in multiple regions fail, fully quit and reopen the client. Also check the system time, proxy permissions and whether other network tools are using the connection settings at the same time.
Why can my browser connect when a particular app cannot?
This is usually related to the client’s split-routing rules, the scope of the system proxy or how the target app connects. Check whether the app is excluded by the rules, then compare the client’s rule and global modes. After switching modes, fully close the target app and reopen it.
What should I do if no routes appear after updating the subscription?
First confirm that the client is showing the newly updated subscription rather than an old locally saved configuration. Delete any invalid subscription entry, then copy the current subscription from the user panel and import it again. Wait for the list to load and check whether the client placed the new configuration in another profile group.
What should I do if the exit region does not change after switching routes?
Disconnect the current connection, select a new route and reconnect, then reopen the target website or app. Some services retain their previous regional assessment during a session, so the displayed region may not change immediately if you switch routes without restarting the target app.
ENTRY / ROUTES
Speed & routes
Route performance is not determined by geographic distance alone. Local access, the target service’s region and the app’s own load all affect the result, so compare routes within the same use case.
How should I troubleshoot slowdowns during peak hours?
Switch to another route in the same target region first, avoiding multiple changes at once. Then pause system updates, cloud sync and large file transfers, and compare wired, wireless and direct local connections separately. If only one target service is slow, check whether that service itself is busy.
In what order should I choose a route?
Filter by the region required by the target service first, then compare actual connection performance among routes in that region. For regular websites and file transfers, consider regions with shorter paths; for streaming and region-restricted services, match the content region first. Route performance depends on your local carrier, access method and target service.
What should I do when streaming says the region is incorrect?
Confirm that the selected route region matches the target library, then disconnect the old route, connect to the new one and fully close and reopen the streaming app. The account region, payment region and current exit region may each affect the service’s decision, so switching routes alone may not change the region associated with an account.
Why is frequent region switching not recommended when using AI tools?
Frequently changing the exit region during one session may cause the target service to reassess the sign-in environment. For tasks that need to run continuously, choose one available region and keep the connection stable. If switching is necessary, save your work first, reconnect and refresh the page afterward to avoid changing routes mid-request.
How many countries and routes does BiliVPN cover?
BiliVPN provides cross-border network acceleration across 90+ countries / 200+ routes. Choose based on the target service’s region and your actual local connection performance; use the route list to review coverage and compare available routes within the same region.
ENTRY / BILLING
Billing & refunds
Monthly subscriptions and traffic packages use different traffic cycles. Before choosing, consider whether your usage is steady each month, then check the traffic allowance, payment methods and refund terms.
What monthly subscription tiers are available?
Monthly subscriptions include ¥9.9/month with 60GB, ¥18/month with 250GB and ¥28/month with 500GB. Traffic resets monthly on the activation date. The main difference between tiers is the monthly allowance, so consider your usual streaming, downloading and multi-device usage.
What traffic package tiers are available, and do they expire?
Traffic packages include ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB and ¥658/3000GB. They remain available until used and never expire, making them suitable for usage that does not follow a fixed monthly pattern and for users who prefer to control their own consumption pace.
How should I choose between a monthly subscription and a traffic package?
Monthly subscription traffic resets each month on the activation date and suits continuous monthly use. Traffic packages remain available until used and never expire, making them suitable for irregular usage. First consider whether your usage follows a consistent monthly pattern, then compare the allowances included in each tier.
How is a mid-cycle monthly subscription upgrade calculated?
For a mid-cycle monthly subscription upgrade, the price difference is converted into remaining days. Before upgrading, check the current and target plans in the user panel, confirm the result shown on the page and then continue, rather than treating an upgrade as a new selection of another plan type.
Which payment methods are supported?
BiliVPN supports Alipay / WeChat Pay / USDT. Available methods are shown during checkout in the user panel. Before submitting, verify the selected plan, traffic allowance and payment method, then follow the on-screen instructions.
How do I request a refund?
BiliVPN offers refunds within 7 days without requiring a reason. To apply, sign in to the user panel, open the support ticket area and describe the relevant order and refund request. You can also review the refund policy beforehand for eligibility and processing details.
